Dear Student:

                                               

SecurTrust Federal Credit Union is proud to offer three members the opportunity to receive scholarships to further their education.  Scholarships in the amount of (2) $1,000 and (1) $500 will be awarded based on merit and additional criteria detailed below.  If selected as an awarded recipient, a copy of the acceptance letter from your school of choice is required in order to receive the SecurTrust scholarship funds.

Out of the applicants submitted, each of the $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to members with a 3.0 or higher GPA and the $500 scholarship will be awarded to an applicant with minimum 2.5 GPA. 

To qualify for a SecurTrust Federal Credit Union Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an active member of SecurTrust Credit Union (not a joint owner) in good standing.

  • Be a 2024 graduating high school senior enrolling at an accredited two-year or four-year college or vocational/technical school during the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average for high school and any college courses completed.

  • Not be an employee of SecurTrust Credit Union, Board Member, or other volunteer committee or their immediate family member (sister, brother, son, daughter).

  • Submit a completed application packet no later than close of business on March 29, 2024.

A completed application packet must include:

  • Completed SecurTrust Federal Credit Union scholarship application.

  • Copy of your transcripts/grades with a signature or seal of school official to verify authenticity.
